Web Design I
Site Construction - Beginner
Hands-on introduction to HTML markup coding, hypertext links,
bulleted / numbered lists, font sizes, paragraph & line breaks,
and other HTML particulars. Learn to design a Web Site according
to search engine requirements and to "seed" a Web site.
Participants create a simple Web site in class and learn how to
view it using a Web browser.
Demonstration and hands-on format.
Prerequisite: Should know Internet Basics & Planning a Web Site
Web Design II
Site Construction - Intermediate
Hands-on instruction of advanced HTML markup coding, with
special emphasis on hyperlinks (linking pages / files), inline
images / art / photographs, simple tables and alignment.
Participants will learn how images and text impact each other;
and learn alignment techniques to correct these difficulties.
Format: Demonstration, Discussion and hands-on format.
Prerequisite: Web Design I
Web Design III
Site Construction - Advanced
Learn how to create complex tables and use tables for laying-out
and controlling Web pages. Learn how to create and implement
response forms and frames
Also learn how to create interactive forms, including checkboxs,
radio buttoms and textareas for largers amounts of input.
Format: Demonstration, Discussion and hands-on format.
Prerequisites: Web Design I & Web Design II
Web Workshop
For people creating or maintaining a Web site for companies or
this departments. Participants bring their Web site materials
and graphics to session and work on-site. The instructor assists,
answers and makes design suggestions.
Hands-on format.
Prerequisites: Web Design I & Web Design II
Each topic is designed to meet the specific needs of the participants. Material
content can be added or removed, depending on needs and goals.
